We help diasporic Hongkongers to advance their careers through education, networking and sharing job opportunities.
Our History
In 2019, a group of pro-democracy professionals saw the need for career development among diasporic Hongkongers. Started as a local group in Washington DC, the network evolved into a global community of more than 4,000 Hongkongers. Despite coming from different industries, all our members share the very same core value: we support freedom and democracy in Hong Kong.
Our Values
While HKPN’s missions are non-political in nature, it was founded and is sustained by its memebrs’ shared values championing freedom and democracy in Hong Kong. HKPN welcomes all individuals who are supportive of freedom and democracy in Hong Kong regardless of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. HKPN is operated by volunteers and does not solicit donations or payment. HKPN is unaffiliated with any other groups unless explicitly stated.
